About the role
Full-time opportunity as a Site Service Officer at our Tarong Operation, located in South Burnett.
The purpose of this role is to provide contractor management support services to assist works execution on Operational and Non Operational plant and equipment across site. The role will be exposed to a broad range of Construction and Power Generation trade aspects.
Key activities include:
- Monitor, inspect, review, approve and negotiate changes to contract service providers’ quality of workmanship, safety and environment plans, ITPs, KPIs and KRAs to ensure performance meets Stanwell’s requirements.
- Provide supervision/management oversight of contractors including HSE aspects in accordance with Stanwell's systems and processes and plant strategies.
- Interpret specifications for contracts with complex resourcing, planning and implementation requirements for short- and longer-term contracts.
- Compliance with the Stanwell safe system of work, policies and procedures when conducting workplace activities. Legal requirements regarding health and safety are met.
- Ensure work activities are compliant and the potential for any deviation from scope or activity is effectively accessed and communicated.
- provide a source of scheduling and planning expertise for self and contractors
About you
The following qualifications and skills are required:
- Demonstrated capacity to understand a wide range of trade practices appropriate to a large power station’ and/or industrial construction setting.
- 3-5 years work experience working within a similar role in a larger power station or heavy industrial environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both site and contract-based work teams including external contract administrators and or business owners.
- Demonstrated ability to use internal and external resources to provide successful and safe works execution.
- Demonstrated ability to clarify and understand contract work requests and develop practical solutions to contractual issues.
- Efficient computer literacy with proven abilities in a vary of software including Ellipse Production.
