About the opportunity
The Assistant Office Manager supports the Office Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. This role includes but is not limited to leading teams, completing administrative tasks, coordinating office activities, and providing support to staff and management.
Responsibilities
- Manage Office Operations assist in overseeing daily office operations.
- People Management lead the Reception & Office Assistant Teams.
- Administrative Support for the business.
- Scheduling and Coordination of meetings.
- Vendor Management liaise with vendors.
- Bookkeeping assist with office-related financial tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and budget management.
- Event Planning organise office events, catering, team-building activities, and town halls.
- Facility Management oversee maintenance, cleaning, and security services to ensure a safe and clean office environment.
- Staff Support work with our People and Service Desk teams to set up workspaces for new hires and support staff with administrative needs.
Skills and Knowledge
- Previous experience in office management or administrative roles is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, strong proficiency in office software and basic bookkeeping knowledge.
- Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, and navigate challenging interactions.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions to maintain a positive work environment.
- Understanding of WH&S.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision, know when to take initiative and prioritise effectively.
- Organised, thorough and provides high quality attention-to-detail.
