Work . Join Sunwater as a Stakeholder Relations Advisor for a 12-month parental leave cover and work collaboratively and cross-functionally to ensure Sunwater has the capability to effectively foster supportive stakeholder relationships. As the Stakeholder Relations Advisor (North and South regions), you will:

  • Act as key advisor on several projects, providing strategic and tactical support across regional Queensland
  • Plan and execute stakeholder and customer-related projects using current and leading practice methods to produce meaningful data and new insights
  • Develop and embed effective engagement tools and frameworks to ensure consistency and quality of stakeholder and customer interactions.

We are seeking a talented individual with proven experience in a similar role with the ability to execute impactful stakeholder engagement and communication strategies. Holding tertiary qualifications in communication, public relations or a related discipline, you will also have experience facilitating workshops and community meetings with the ability to manage competing priorities in an evolving environment. You will also bring:

  • Stakeholder Relations expertise : Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing stakeholders, relationships and conflict resolution
  • Influencing : High developed negotiation skills with the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders to influence positive outcomes
  • Communication skills : Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high quality written and oral reports, plans and presentations for a range of audiences

This role offers an attractive base salary, 12.75% superannuation and a genuine emphasis on work/life balance, ensuring you are well-rewarded for your dedication and hard work.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, there will be travel to Sunwater regional facilities (usually 1 – 2 nights per month).
