The Opportunity:
As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the organisation's financial health. This role involves financial analysis, budget preparation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve organisational goals.
The role is based at our Sydney CBD location and we also welcome a hybrid flexible working model.
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and assist with month-end close processes.
- Prepare and lodge tax returns, including GST and BAS.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation and analysis.
- Identify and drive improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
About You:

- 5+ years in a financial accounting role, ideally in a professional services or consultancy environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related discipline. CA/CPA qualification.
- Proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word).
- Strong technical statutory, accounting and tax skills.
