We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

About the role

Band 5 - base salary from $117,700 per annum (plus super) - total package to be negotiated with preferred candidate based on skills and experience

This is a great opportunity to combine your analytical expertise with strategic insight, to compile business cases that support sustainable network initiatives. This includes supporting various network innovation projects, from initial identification, through to gathering information and presenting business cases and coordinating outcomes.

The role works across the business to drive collaboration and deliver network innovation initiatives, assessing financial performance and ensuring projects deliver value to the business and its customers.

About you

Your adaptive, pro-active approach will support your ability to work through a variety of day to day tasks and projects, working collaboratively across different teams to gather and interpret information.

You will hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, with experience and genuine interest in the energy sector, including knowledge of new products and services relative to the industry.

You have demonstrated ability to build relationships (ideally across a similar size organisation), drawing upon your effective communication skills to source insights and provide recommendations.

You will also offer advanced capability in financial analysis and commercial modelling.
