We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

Are you looking to kick-start your career in business administration? TasNetworks has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Organisational Development team as a Business Administration Trainee.
As a trainee, you’ll provide valuable administrative support to help deliver a wide range of people and development initiatives. You’ll also complete a Certificate III in Business over a 24-month period, gaining hands-on experience while developing essential workplace skills.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide general admin support to the Organisational Development team
- Assist with training bookings, records, quotes, invoices, and payments
- Deliver friendly customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with reports, funding applications, and process improvements
- Complete all training and coursework for your Certificate III in Business
About you
To be successful in this opportunity you will bring:
- A positive, proactive mindset and strong customer focus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and email
- Great attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Ability to use initiative and complete tasks efficiently
