The Role

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Digital Experience team, aligning with TasWater’s vision and strategy.
  • Oversee the management of IT infrastructure and operations, digital applications, and service centre to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the management of TasWater's IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, storage, and other assets, enhancing its efficiency and reliability to meet business needs and requirements
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive value and innovation.
  • Management of capability and expertise to enhance the delivery of digital and technology operational services and solutions to stakeholders.

What we're looking for

To be successful we’re looking for the following experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology Operations or a related field.
  • Demonstrated senior-level leadership experience in IT service/operations management in large, complex organisations.
  • Proven technical expertise in ICT operations and project management within regulated environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on business outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead teams and engage with stakeholders.

The Details

This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of Circa $180,000 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
