About the Team Global Express Women in Transport Traineeship Program

Our Women in Transport Traineeship Program is an initiative aimed to promote and provide an avenue to increase and support female participation at Team Global Express. Currently, women comprise 15% of TGE's operational workforce—a figure we'redetermined to surpass by 2026, aiming for over 30% female representation in operational roles.

This traineeship program will empower women by providing them with the necessary skills, knowledge, support, confidence, and qualifications to become a successful Operational team member at Team Global Express. You will gain a unique understanding of our transport and logistics operation as well as an in-depth insight into the role of a TGE truck driver. This program will accelerate individual growth and confidence that will put you on the path to a bright and successful long-term career with Team Global Express.

The program will be based out of Braeside, Altona and Melbourne Airport TGE depots with the initial 8-week training period based at Melbourne Airport.

What you’llget at the end of our 12-month traineeship program:

  • Gain valuable practical, industry-specific experience in Transport Logistics

  • Nationally accredited TLI31222 - Certificate III in Driving Operations

  • Heavy Rigid Truck Licence in your state

  • A permanent role in our Operations team!
