KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Fortinet Engineer, you are accountable for:
- To implement, integrate and support ICT solutions to the customer.
- Elicit requirements from users and perform requirements management activities
- Contribute to design activities
- Develop and maintain design documentation and operational documentation for ICT solutions.
- Develop and maintain the endpoint security and removable media control sub-system
- Perform testing and verification of software to meet customer requirements.
- Develop installation scripts and procedures for operating systems and application software.
- Support certification activities
- Provide technical advice on relevant technologies and products.
- Attend and participate in regular project meetings and technical reviews.
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology, a related discipline or comparable working experience.
- Strong experience with: Microsoft Windows Server 2019
- Openstack
- Fortinet FortiClient
- Ansible
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience/knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other networking technologies
- Experience with authoring/reviewing technical documentation
- Strong oral and written communications and liaison skills
