A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Integrated Logistics Support Engineer to join the Digital Systems team in Rydalmere.
As an integrated Logistic Engineer, you will be accountable for:
- preparation and costing of relevant parts of Commercial proposals, bids and contracts for Logistic Engineering requirements.
- Provide assistance to Projects in Logistics Engineering activities particularly in system modelling and engineering issues
- Prepare contractual Logistic Engineering deliverables and provide advice to the project managers in a timely manner
- Takes as an input the Service Solution requirements defined by the Services Architect.
- Ensures the design of the Customer Service Solution, in interaction with the Architect of the Service Solution (Services Architect).
- Provide Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability, Safety (RAMTS) studies, Life Cycle Cost Modelling, Defect Report and Corrective Action System and ensures the required levels are reached according to customer requirements and Thales needs.
- Conduct RAM analysis using Parts Counts Assessments and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs).
- Engage in the derivation of RAM and Safety related requirements and in Verifying and Validating them through relevant project lifecycle stages.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholder on a day to day basis and respond to technical and non-technical related observations and queries concerning RAM and Safety Assurance.
- Validates the availability of the Product Life Supply Chain. Validates the initial list of spare parts.
- Ensures the obsolescence management plan is validated.
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Experience in logistics analysis or related fields.
- Experience in a maintenance or logistics support role would be advantageous
- RAM analysis
- Logistics support, or Maintenance task analysis
- Computer modelling such as OPUS10, SIMLOX, and/or CATLOC (DESIRABLE)
- Proficiency in statistics, programming or database design (DESIRABLE)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent ability to interpret and analyse drawings and technical documents. Extensive experience in managing projects, services and support.
- A very high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships across diverse constituencies.
- Demonstrate high levels of leadership and communication skills in demanding circumstances and/or environment.
