Our Opportunity
Great opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Above Water Systems (AWS) team based in Garden Island. Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will ensure close collaboration across AWS to drive the development of commercial acumen across the business. This includes Legal & Contracts (L&C), Procurement, Bid and Project Managers, and other Contracts Managers.
Responsibilities will include;
Manage and lead a team of Contract Administrators and Project Support staff Contract Administration and Project Support
Management of contractual obligations from capture phase to contract closure
Management of Contracts and Standing Offers within the AWS portfolio (not managed by Programs) in close consultation with the L&C team ensuring all contractual obligations are adhered to
Supporting Bids and Projects with contract and project administration support
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the technical requirements and its relationship to the schedule and associated priorities
Supporting the Capture/Bid team in identifying contractual requirements
Supporting the Purchasing Department in ensuring appropriate flow-down of terms and conditions to the supply chain
Development of the Contract Baseline and managing changes
Ensuring members of the Project team are fully briefed on all material elements of the contract
Administration of the contract baseline during the project
Ensuring all contractual obligations are completed Management of risks and opportunities
Identification and management of amendment opportunities throughout the project life cycle Team Management
How about you?
Post graduate qualifications or training in areas of Business, Finance/Accounting, Law, Project Management, Commercial Management or Engineering is desirable.
Extensive experience in a Contract Management role
Knowledge of and experience in risk and opportunity management
Experience with the ASDEFCON procurement and contract suite
Experience in contract management, legal, commercial or project management.
Successful track record in the provision of contract support that has facilitated the delivery of successful project and business outcomes.
Providing leadership and assisting team members in meeting contractual requirements.
