Thales in Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate Talent Acquisition Director to spearhead recruitment for our organisation - a very exciting opportunity!
As the Talent Acquisition Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruiting strategies and initiatives that attract, engage, and retain top talent for our organisation. Day to day, you’ll work with the Global TA Leadership, TA Partners, HR Directors and Senior business leaders to deliver 1000+ hires in 2023. To all these groups, you will share insights on key market movements, industry trends and influence the business on best practice recruitment and initiatives that will make an impact to business strategy.
We’re not going to give you a ‘laundry list’ of other accountabilities however the following should help guide you through the core components of the role. You will lead a fabulous team of talent acquisition professionals driving high performance delivery through global KPIs and leveraging our partner MSPs. In this role, you will champion and design solutions to meet current and future talent demands, including talent acquisition, internal mobility, early careers and DEI. You will be a motivated self-starter, have an entrepreneurial mindset and have a passion for finding the best talent for Thales. You will be able to coach, energise and inspire high performance within your team and bring others along on the journey. You will embrace and advocate for equity and inclusion. As a leader you'll role model and be an ambassador for our Thales values.

- Experience executing a global TA strategy and swiftly flex from strategy to execution.
- A customer-focused mentality and desire to exceed the expectations of our business by being accountable and responsive.
- Expertise in leading vendor/partner relationships and driving ROI.
- We are launching Phenom and it will integrate with Workday which we use currently - experience with a variety of recruitment technology is necessary.
