About The Opportunities

As part of our Vehicles and Tactical Systems business, our Protected Vehicles team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we Build a Future We Can All Trust.

We are currently seeking a number of Vehicle Assemblers to join our Protected Vehicles team in Bendigo. You will be ready to join a passionate team of skilled professionals as you contribute to our ongoing success as a trusted partner to our varied customers across the world.

These positions will initially be offered to successful candidates on a 6-month fixed term basis.

These positions will focus on;

  • Following set processes as you play a hands-on role in the assembly of Protected Vehicles

  • Safe methods of work and a high attention to detail when it comes to quality

  • Adhering to set schedules as you work as a team and collaborate with those around you

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while utilising relevant systems and tools

How About You?

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or in the assembly of similar products and / or mechanical components

  • Proven ability to operate to set safety, quality and other related standards

  • Strong team skills with the ability to work across diverse teams to set schedules / deadlines

  • Self-driven with the proven ability to work independently and autonomously

  • Those with intermediate IT skills (MS Office) will be viewed favourably, as will those with a current Forklift licence
