About the role

Our Protected Vehicles business is currently seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to be based at the Robertson Barracks in Darwin to conduct servicing, repairs and upgrades to the Australian Defence Forces Bushmaster and Hawkei vehicles. You will carry out a variety of tasks to ensure that all servicing, repairs and upgrades are completed to meet customer expectations and deadlines.

The expectation of this role is to:

  • Conduct all tasks on time, and to the highest quality standards

  • Use and follow workshop instructions and manuals

  • Be safety focused and committed to your own and your workmates safety

How about you?

  • Trade qualified as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

  • Ideally your qualifications also include MR Licence (not essential)

  • Produce a high level of quality work

  • Safety focused

  • Willing to work as part of team
