About Your Role
Thales Australia Benalla facility in regional Victoria produces a range of munitions including small arms ammunition, large calibre ammunition, bombs and pyrotechnics, grenades, fuses and detonators for the defence and commercial markets.
We're seeking a Maintenance Coordinator CMMS Administrator who will be accountable for local administration of the computerised Maintenance Management System ensuring it is fit for purpose and aligned to drive excellence in our operations and asset management.
In addition, you will provide for the technical support to ensure buildings and services are adequately and efficiently maintained to support production and Commonwealth contractual requirements.
Reporting to the Maintenance manager you will:
- Support the facility Asset management process by managing CMMS records for Assets, Locations, PMs and Job Plans ensuring they are accurate and a formal process is developed and maintained.
- Ensure team members are competent and effective in supporting the CMMS through accurate and timely data entry
- Be the technical lead in the maintenance of facilities services and infrastructure to support productivity and upkeep of the site.
- Coordinate the timely provision of in house and external facilities maintenance services to support upkeep and productivity of the site for the following services: Waste Services, Building Maintenance and more.
- Participate in various audits and studies including follow up actions such as safety, quality and environment audits, hazard analysis, CAR's and continuous improvement activities.
- Supervise team members ensuring requirements of the CMMS & contractor management are met.
How About You?
- Demonstrated experience using asset management software (ideally IBM Maximo and/or Permitted)
- Experience with Facilities Services Maintenance with previous work in a manufacturing environment
- Management and supervision of contractors
- CMMS administration
- Ability to manage conflict and promote team work
- Experience with a comprehensive safety management including ; JSEAs, SWMS, permit systems
