Our Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asset Manager to join our team in Garden Island, Sydney. As an integral part of DORSC (Dock Operating & Reticulated Services Contract) program, you will be responsible for managing all operational and maintenance aspects of a group of critical assets. Your role will involve developing and coordinating a strategic asset management framework, analysing life cycle costs, providing recommendations for asset performance improvement, and ensuring compliance with ISO55000 Asset Management accreditation.
Responsibilities include;
Developing methodologies for tracking asset lifecycle, inventory, locations, costs, reliability, and return on investment.
Leading cross-functional coordination activities to maintain an accurate and complete asset information database.
Managing the application of the asset management system to optimize reliability, maintenance, and sparing to reduce costs and increase availability.
Developing and approving strategic asset management plans and ensuring compliance
Providing engineering governance to the DORSC program.
Driving innovation and business improvements.
Leading, empowering, coaching, and mentoring the asset management team.
Championing and enhancing a strong safety culture across Garden Island.
Ensuring on-site project activities, processes, and systems comply with relevant legislation.
How about you?
A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a relevant field.
Senior management experience and skills in Asset Management/Maintenance Operations, ideally within the industrial and/or utility services industry.
Demonstrated leadership and relationship management experience within a matrix organization, leading multi-discipline technical teams.
Membership (preferred) of Asset Management Council (CPAM or CSAM level).
Experience managing life cycle costs, reliability, and risk.
The ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders to deliver in a complex, matrix environment.
Strong change leadership and management skills, risk management, and mitigation skills.
