The HSE Programs Business Partner will be responsible for delivery of HSE improvement programs across the TANZ business and respective HSE strategies. HSE improvement programs will include but not limited to, critical risk management, contractor management, management of change, HSE in procurement plus many others in this fulltime ongoing role.
KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the National HSE Programs Business Partner, you are accountable for:
- Support and drive discrete national programs of work aimed at improving work health and safety responsibilities and outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups e.g. procurement, operations and project management
- Undertaking activities to support the development and implementation of the Group and corporate HSE strategy, management system and improvement plans.
- Ensure the Management of Change process is effectively implemented across HSE programs
- Assist in coaching, guiding and mentoring leaders and their teams in achieving the HSE strategy
- Support and drive the Thales’ Life Saving Controls across all Thales Australia operations.
- Other duties as directed
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum AQF level 6 qualification in work health and safety
- LEAN or Change Management certification or demonstrated experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in work, health and safety, preferably in large complex organisations
- Experience in complex high-risk organisations
- Demonstrated stakeholder programs engagement
- Understanding of environmental regulation
- Able to inspire and motivate performance across organisational boundaries, driving efficient and positive change in HSE culture.
- Ability to lead, motivate and influence others without positional power.
- Lead and participate in change initiatives aimed at delivering a mature WHS operational commitment from operations
- Demonstrated understanding and application of HSE auditing and compliance systems including deep experience with ISO 14001, 45001 and exposure to 50001 management systems.
