Join Thales Australia's Expert Team as a Testing and Evaluation Engineer for Explosive Ordnance
Report to the Technical Manager – Test and Evaluation. Play a pivotal role in supporting our operations in Mulwala (NSW) or off-site test ranges as required.
Oversee and Enhance Thales' Testing and Evaluation Processes for explosive ordnance products, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Activities and Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans tailored to explosive ordnance specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Analyse test results, identify performance issues and areas for improvement and present findings in a clear and actionable format.
Prepare and reviewing certification documentation, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with development and manufacturing teams for product refinement and troubleshooting.
From day one, you will need:
A degree qualification in Engineering or Chemistry
Previous experience in testing methodologies, data analysis, and problem-solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Though we would train you in the below, this role would benefit
Experience in the field of explosives and ammunition
Familiarity with the Commonwealth's certification processes, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements specific to explosive ordnance
