Working closely with the Training & Capability Manager for Thales’ Above Water Systems (AWS) business, the Early Careers Coordinator will assist with Thales’
Apprenticeship & Traineeship Program.
This position will be based onsite at our Garden Island location with travel required.
Some key responsibilities:
- Work Experience - Working with Students& Industry to host Work Experience Students at Garden Island
- Schools Engagement - Working with Schools and Education departments such as Clontarf to promote AWS Apprenticeship and Traineeship opportunities
- Early Careers Onboarding – Working closely with Training & Capability Manager to onboard Early Careers including
- Apprenticeship Centre Engagement
- Talent Acquisition
- Training and Development
- Working with AWS to identify Early Engagement Opportunities o
- Supporting T&C with Apprentice/Trainee framework o
- Assisting with pre-start requirements such as DCAC’s, Whitecard’s and payroll related programs
- Assisting Production Supervisors with Apprentices day to day including and not limited to
- Checking of work diary entries
- Working with production supervisors to assign relevant tasks
What you’ll bring on day one:
- Experience working within Early Careers
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to liaise with External Governing Bodies
- TAE – Workplace Trainer Assessor
- Australian Citizenship (for the ability to gain clearance)
