OUR TEAM
As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we all work together towards our purpose.
YOUR ROLE:
The Repairable Item Manager is dedicated to maintaining the serviceability and availability of specific repairable items, and ensure FF availability and positioned to satisfy customer’s requirements. The Repairable Item Manager conducts scheduling with the Maintenance Planning Lead for repairable items servicing and repairs to maintain maximum repairable availability for the customer and avoid delays to commencement and delivery of any planned tasking by the customer.
Working at our Brisbane, Eagle Farm office, on Jagera and Turrbul Land, some of your responsibilities include:
- Providing efficient and timely advice on the availability and serviceability of the specific repairable items
- Issuing and receipting repairable to the Customer to meet their requirements
- Maintaining and reporting the rotable statistics in accordance with CoA Requirements
- Providing workload forecast reports to the Service Delivery Manager
- Providing designated KPI reports to the Commonwealth representative
- Finding and adapting coherent technical solutions to meet the set objectives and improve repair procedures and processes
- Proposing changes & monitoring developments to resolve incidents reported by customers
- Seeking improved times and standards through standardisation and alternative solutions
On day one you will bring:
- Experience within a similar role and envrinment.
- Broad exposure to ADF procedures and policies
- Good leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of technical specialists
- A high level of interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
- Very good knowledge and experience of standard computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge of OH&S requirements within the workplace.
Preferred experience:
- Trade qualification Automotive Vehicle Mechanic, AQF Certificate 3, or equivalent experience
- Above average personnel management & leadership skills
- Understanding of Defence user community and associated operational environment, policies & procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of MILIS & MMM record keeping
- Demonstrated knowledge of Defence repair and support processes and practices
