What you'll contribute to

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Total Rewards Specialist to join our People & Culture division in a Max Term role for 18 months.

The People & Culture Division is responsible for the provision of Toyota human resources, best practice advisory, learning and development services to both internal customers and external businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, Toyota employees, dealers, suppliers, vehicle importers and the broader community with the aim to becoming an outstanding employer of choice.

The Senior Total Rewards Specialist is primarily responsible for implementing systems, policies and procedures related to the way employees are rewarded and providing specialist advice to managers and HR stakeholders related to total rewards (remuneration, benefits and recognition) to ensure that the business is optimally supported in achieving its objectives through its people. The role ensures the effective delivery of company total rewards employee services to meet business objectives.

This role is based in Altona North with flexible work arrangements on offer. There may be a requirement to travel to our Sydney office once a month.

How you'll make an impact

  • Implement and review agreed total rewards systems, processes and procedures consistent with set policies to achieve business objectives at optimal cost.
  • Provide advice on and assist the HR management team in the development of policies and standards for total rewards practices to ensure practices meet business objectives at optimal cost.
  • Prepare and communicate inputs and outputs for annual remuneration including promotions and rotations, annual remuneration review and incentives.
  • Manage relationships, communication and processes with external payroll and total rewards providers to ensure a seamless delivery of service and employees receive all relevant information.
  • Coordinate and facilitate forums to ensure that total rewards plans, progress and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain reporting systems to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.

Your attributes

  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' accumulative experience in a similar role within a large corporate environment.
  • Experience in payroll, total rewards and benefits highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and excel skills to be able to visualise and present data.
  • Track record in successfully providing services and solutions to the business including strategy development.
