What you'll contribute to


An excellent opportunity has come up for a DMS (Dealer Management System) Product Manager who is primarily responsible for the development of Toyota Australia's DMS strategic roadmap and its communication to the wider business in order to ensure optimum competitiveness and thereby enhancing Dealer performance for the Toyota and Lexus brands.


The role is part of the TUNE Project Office and is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of Product and Services in the Tune DMS, plus DMS Dealer standards and Service activities in order to support the Dealer network and contribute to achievement of sales volume, market share, profitability and Toyota digital objectives.


In this role you need to be self-motivated and have excellent stakeholder management skills to be able to build rapport and relations across Toyota, Lexus, our dealer network, and affiliated companies.


This is a Permanent role based at Port Melbourne and regular interstate travel would be required.



How you'll make an impact

  • Develop and implements Toyota Australia's agreed DMS development roadmap consistent with set policies in order to achieve Toyota Australia's Franchise of the Future (FOF) objectives
  • Provide advice on and assist managers in the development of Toyota Australia's DMS related policies and standards with a view to overseeing current & future DMS trends to ensure that optimum decisions are made
  • Coordinate and facilitate forums to maintain a product backlog in line with the Toyota Australia's DMS roadmap such that to ensure progress and priorities are clearly communicated to all stakeholders
  • Ensure ongoing stakeholder relationship management and support to maintain strategic partnerships, align business functions, resolve complex issues, contribute to countermeasures, and improve business processes to minimise risk and support franchise development and expansion
  • Provide specialist support to customers who utilise Toyota Australia's DMS, to identify risks, opportunities and improve customer satisfaction

  • Automotive industry experience with a focus on Dealer Operations
  • Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills with a strategic mindset
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including ability to have a customer focus and engage with internal & external Stakeholders.
  • Broad understanding of dealer network and its operational requirements
  • Problem Solving skills with a drive to deliver end results
  • Experience in project and vendor management
