What you'll contribute to

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Promotions Coordinator, to join our Quality & Service division in a Max Term role for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

The Quality and Service Division is tasked with planning, coordinating, and executing customer-first initiatives, which encompass customer support, service operations, training, in-field product performance and assistance, warranty, quality planning, and engineering. Its goal is to retain customers for life by enhancing their experiences, services, and products, thereby driving market growth, supporting profitability goals, and reinforcing the Toyota brand.

The Senior Quality Promotions Coordinator is mainly responsible for supporting the development and implementation of corporate quality assurance strategies, systems, policies, and plans that ensure quality compliance across all Toyota products and services. This role aims to enhance customer satisfaction and help achieve Quality and Service objectives, including creating strategies to encourage divisions to adopt countermeasures and promoting a proactive approach to resolving issues promptly.

This position is in Altona North, with flexible work arrangements available. Additionally, occasional interstate travel, approximately three to four times per year, is required for this role.

How you'll make an impact

  • Develop and evaluate quality planning systems, processes, and procedures in alignment with established policies to meet Quality and Service objectives. Additionally, contribute to the development and reporting of annual and strategic planning.
  • Manage and update the Quality Learning Centres and Quality forums. Support other divisions in creating programs that foster a Customer First culture and a built-in quality mindset.
  • Track and report on customer satisfaction, market research, and Net Promoter Score (NPS), and assist in analyzing performance to identify gaps. Recommend corrective actions to enhance the customer experience, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of activities aimed at optimizing new model vehicle suitability for the local market and customer needs, with the goal of maximizing NPS and Initial Quality Survey results.
  • Organize and facilitate forums including presentations to senior management, coordinating regional quality meetings, to ensure effective communication of strategy deployment plans, progress, and issues to all stakeholders.

Your attributes

  • A degree in marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in project management.
  • Over 5 years of cumulative experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to influence and motivate others.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Toyota product range and Toyota quality systems is preferred.
  • Your success in this role will be driven by strong project management skills and experience in strategic planning.
  • A background in sales, advertising, and promotions will be beneficial.
