What you'll contribute to


As our Senior Solution Architect, you will be at the forefront of providing cutting-edge technical architectural solutions for IT projects and business stakeholders. Your role is crucial in enabling high-quality, accurate, and effective solution development that supports TMCA in executing its strategy and achieving its objectives.


Join the Digital Connected Services (DCS) team, where you'll be instrumental in delivering innovative technology systems and information services that empower TMCA to drive its strategy and meet its goals.


This is a permanent opportunity based at Port Melbourne.


How you'll make an impact

  • Design and Implement: Lead the design and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they align with Toyota's IT Architecture Principles. Your work will maintain best practices, quality, cost-efficiency, and reusability, balancing technical excellence with business needs.
  • Innovate and Advise: Provide expert advice and proactive technology solutions. Develop project plans, offer technical guidance, and create policies and procedures that drive business strategic objectives and uncover new, innovative solution approaches.
  • Architectural Leadership: Play a key role in developing system architectural designs. Promote awareness of architectural principles, strategies, and roadmaps across DCS, ISD, and the broader business.
  • Performance Monitoring: Keep a close eye on performance metrics. analyse results, recommend countermeasures, and ensure that objectives are met.
  • Facilitate and Communicate: Coordinate and lead forums to resolve technical issues. Clearly communicate solution possibilities to all stakeholders, ensuring they are understood and documented according to business processes and logic.

Your attributes - If you've got one or more, we'd love to hear from you!

  • Have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Have proven experience in architecting and implementing complex, mission-critical systems across multiple technologies.
  • You are skilled in designing solutions for Salesforce implementations.
  • Have hands-on experience with data architecture design and governance.
  • A strong background in object-oriented architecture and design, particularly for large-scale, multi-tier systems.
  • Proficient in solution designs using one or more integration platforms, preferably Boomi, Azure, or SAP BTP.
