About Great River City Light Rail

Western Sydney is one of the fastest growing regions in our country, with the population of Greater Parramatta alone set to climb by 50 per cent by 2041 and at Great River City Light Rail we want to create new communities, connect great places and help locals and visitors move around and explore what the region has to offer. The new Light Rail will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia, spanning 12 kilometres and utilising state-of-the-art vehicles that delivers comfortable, user-friendly and high-performance services. By 2026, around 28,000 people will use Parramatta Light Rail every day and an estimated 130,000 people will be living within walking distance of light rail stops.

The role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing the business performance against our key deliverables. In addition to this you will lead in preparing and coordinating our monthly reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders. Crucial to the success of the role is ensuring data is accurately captured and using analytics to highlight any trends and opportunities and provide recommendations for process improvements. There will also be opportunities to actively participate in implementation and testing of business improvement strategies.

What you bring

In addition to your tertiary qualification in Business or related, you enjoy undertaking research, collating and translating data into reports and actionable insights. You also possess strong organisational skills and communication skills to enable you in delivering deliverables. This will be supported by your attention to detail and exposure in using excel and Power BI.
