The role
Reporting to the General Manager, Operations and leading a team of training specialists, this role is an integral part of the Operations Management Team. Supporting both our front line teams and corporate functions you will design, implement and deliver training packages and certification for Sydney and Parramatta Light Rail. This leadership role provides the opportunity to connect the design and delivery of training with operational outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and then follow through with the changes to the relevant documentation. Your time will be divided between hands on delivery of training, and team leadership activities. You’ll be supported by a strong internal team including quality, safety and people and culture.
What you bring
We are looking for a passionate training professional with proven leadership skills and a commitment to operational improvements, high standards of compliance and workforce engagement. In addition to your Cert IV Training & Assessment (or working towards) your background will include demonstrated training experience in a highly regulated industry (transport preferred). This will include experience in the development and delivery of technical and non-technical in-house training programs. Equally important will be your well-developed writing, communication and facilitation skills supported by a sound knowledge of contemporary learning and training principles and practices
The benefits for you
In return, we offer competitive pay and benefits and a positive culture that embraces diversity and employee feedback. We genuinely invest in our people and the work you carry out at Transdev touches the lives of your family, friends and future generations alike. Working in a growing, global business will provide diverse career experiences for you to make your mark, push boundaries and reach your maximum potential.
