Your role and responsibilities:

As an Apprentice Panel Beater / Body Repairer you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our bus fleet at our Randwick depot. This includes:

Assist qualified tradespeople to construct and repair metal bus bodies and trailers, using hand tools and power tools.

Accident repair and fleet refurbishment.

Ensure bus presentation meets vehicle presentation standards.

Identify, report and repair vehicle defects


We Offer:

Junior 1st year pay rate $19.70ph (includes industry allowance)

A monthly rostered day off (RDO)

4 weeks paid annual leave

The talent you bring:

Must have some proven hands-on automotive or mechanical experience including the use of related hand and power tools.

Must have a current NSW drivers licence (Ps accepted) and be willing to upgrade to HR drivers licence if required.

Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship opportunity including TAFE study at Wetherill Park

Computer literacy with the ability to record accurate maintenance information

Hours of work:

6am-2.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Depot Locations:

The Randwick depot has all day site parking available and is close to public transport (bus and light rail)

Please note that that we have 3 depots (Port Botany, Randwick and Waverley (close to Bondi Junction) and there will be a requirement to work at all 3 depots on a regular basis throughout the course of the 4-year apprenticeship.
