The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

In your new role, you will be responsible for driving change activities for technology projects and initiatives, including conducting change impact assessments, managing communications, and overseeing the implementation of changes to ensure successful end-user adoption.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, including the broader IT team, to understand both the current and future states, ensuring business impacts are accurately captured and translated into clear change communication materials.

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing technology changes across a geographically diverse workforce and demonstrate passion, positivity, and authenticity in their communications with staff at all levels of the organisation.

About you

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Change Manager, with a focus on technology driven people change initiatives and projects, from project initiation through to successful change adoption.
  • Professional qualifications/certification in Change Management or other relevant qualification (tertiary qualifications in business, technology, change management).
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in the application of Change Management Methodologies (CMBok, Prosci - ADKAR) and associated tools and templates.
  • Experience developing engaging training plans, training material (such as end-user guides, factsheets and videos), planning and conducting training sessions in conjunction with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional ability to understand and advocate for the end user experience.
  • Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills, and ability to communicate, establish and maintain relationships at all levels from the C suite to field-based staff.
  • Experience contributing to the development of business cases, project and resource plans, in conjunction with Business Analysts and Project Managers.
  • Sound understanding of Business Analysis, Project Management and Testing disciplines and how they are used to effectively deliver projects.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as a contributing member of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with effective remediation strategies to remedy any impacts on delivery timelines for projects.
  • Sound knowledge of technology and business operations.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time managing deliverables soundly.
