About the role:
Join Unitywater’s Financial Control Team as an Assistant Financial Accountant and play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and supporting accurate, timely and audit-compliant Management, Statutory and Tax reporting.

About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
  • Accounting/Commerce degree and CPA/CA membership (or in progress)
  • Experience assisting with preparation of statutory financial statements and relevant legislation
  • Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial stewardship
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proficiently in financial controls and general ledger systems
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and ERP finance systems
  • Demonstrated attributes of drive, reliability, flexibility, and high performance
  • Valid C Class driver’s license
