About the role:

Ventia’s Telecommunications contract located in Arndell Park, NSW, requires 5 x Qualified Electricians to join a crew of 10. You will assist with general electrical activities, maintenance, Extra Low Voltage DC work, retro fits on new and existing Telco exchanges, new infrastructure builds, and fault response on a range of Telco and AC equipment.

This role is required to travel regularly within the NSW region for our Telco division covering Metro & Regional NSW. This full-time opportunity offers 38 hours per week with potential overtime. We are offering a pay rate between $44.00 - $50.00 per hour with Tool of trade vehicle, depending on the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with AC & DC Power Systems (rectifiers, batteries)
• Running data and communications cables
• Installation of cable trays within telecommunication rooms
• Installing and commissioning power systems and equipment
• Station alarm experience in ACCADS, TESAMS and Ai Remote platforms
  
  
  

Skills & Attributes:

• Qualified A Grade Electrician Trade Certificate
• MR Drivers licence – Desirable
• Industrial, Mechanical or Telecommunications background – Desirable
• Solar or Diesel experience – Desirable
• Manual Driver’s licence
• Radio & Optic fibre technologies requiring sound fault diagnostics and rectification skills – Desirable
