What the role will involve:

  • Provide analytical services for standard, periodic and ad hoc reporting on Asset Investment Program financial and non-financial performance. This includes reporting to Board, Executive and CFO
  • Provide financial and analytical expertise to support in the formulation of the Asset Investment Program
  • Initiate and contribute to the continuous improvement of investment processes and procedures relating to the Asset Investment Program performance and formulation
  • Prepare data models, ensuring that models developed provide an appropriate level of information for senior management decision making and results are delivered within a reasonable timeframe
  • Develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures to effectively govern the budgeting and forecasting processes

Key skills and experience:

  • Degree level qualification in commerce, finance or a related discipline
  • Considerable commercial financial experience in a large operational, industrial, or engineering environment with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Considerable experience in developing and analysing data and financial models using computer based analytical and corporate information systems
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft suite of systems
  • Proven analytical and problem solving ability
