What you’ll do:

  • Ensure that the comprehensive and accurate collection of asset data is completed and recorded for asset life-cycle activities to provide a defensible basis for preparing and negotiating Asset Plans, budgets, projects, and regulatory pricing submissions.
  • Develop an understanding of WaterNSW Asset identification Standards and ensure compliance throughout the asset data collection process.
  • Develop and maintain systems and processes for the quality assurance of asset data and to ensure raw data is reviewed, quality-assured, and modified as required to maintain its quality and reliability.
  • Develop and provide training and support to asset managers, project teams, external contractors, maintainers, and operators to effectively use and capture asset data and information.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate, outline, and establish project handover plans and non-built deliverables, ensuring outcomes are streamlined and adhere to ISO 55001 Asset Management System standards.
  • Process and capture critical assets within project drawings to the Enterprise Asset Management System, as per project requirements.
  • Provide support to the project teams for the duration of the project life cycle in relation to asset data capture, use of the data capture tool, provision of asset tags for use on the project documentation and establishing the maintenance requirements in Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS).

What we are looking for:  

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in business and data analysis in Enterprise Asset Management systems or other systems and a current NSW Driver's License.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and abilityto build and maintain strong Internal and External relationships with stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of international asset management and risk standards, IS055000 (Asset Management) and IS031000 (Risk Management).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex information and make sound judgements.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of asset planning or maintenance scheduling applications.
  • Strong reporting and database management experience.
