The impact you will make:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Social Media Manager will be part of our global marketing team responsible for driving WORK180’s reach and authority in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) space.
As the Social Media Manager you will be responsible for building, engaging and retaining our community in Australia, the UK and US. You will need to think globally but tailor your approach locally, ensuring our messaging and activities effectively build brand awareness, differentiate us in the market and drive the right actions.
To be successful in the role, you will:

Actively manage social media channels to drive reach and engagement;

Develop compelling community content (e.g., competitions, reels, videos, etc.) that aligns with our brand, product, and content strategy;

Create, monitor, and optimize paid digital campaigns to support business goals (including events promotion and community growth);

Develop and execute WORK180’s Community Engagement Plan;

Collaborate with various departments (Product, Acquisition and Engagement, Events and Partnerships, Delivery, and Digital Agency) to enhance community engagement and amplify key activities;

Own the community e-newsletter;

Identify and activate partnership opportunities;
-
Stay updated with the latest social and community management trends and proactively share insights, best practices, and recommendations to improve reach and engagement.
About you:
As a growing business with an eye on making a global impact, we are looking for people who can bring diverse perspectives and experience and a passion for what they do.
On day one, ideally you will have:

Proven experience in community and/or social media management.
We are looking for an experienced social media/ community manager who can hit the ground running with ideas and take their career to the next level. -
Successful track record of building and engaging online communities.
You will have a strong understanding of all social media platforms and trends and be able to creatively generate new approaches to create engaging content.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and manage partnerships.
Our Social Media Manager will work across regions, teams and external partners managing different work streams.

Proficiency in digital marketing and campaign management.
The ability to plan and execute a creative content plan alongside a team.

Eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident).

The process

Role Specific Task - presented in the interview with the hiring manager, to give you a chance to demonstrate your potential and fit for this role.

Second interviews with hiring manager, Lauren O’Connor.

Final Topgrading Interview with two of the leadership team, to deep dive into your full background and experience. This will include asking questions about everything from your high school experience to your latest role.
