How is WORK180 going to #BreakTheBias?
Our International Women’s Day 2022 commitment and contribution to #BreakTheBias is to benchmark our Endorsed Employers against the 10 standards that have the biggest impact on driving workplace equity.
Our core belief is that by helping employers to know better, they will be able to do better so that all women can expect better.
That’s why this commitment is so important.
This benchmarking work, which we’ll launch later this year as the “WORK180 Equity Board”, will become a key foundation of our offering for employers and women alike.
Building on the learnings and insights we’ve taken from our Gender Equity Index that was launched in 2021, this new initiative will help to identify and benchmark workplace efforts to drive equity and inclusion in an even more holistic way.
For employers at all stages of the diversity & inclusion journey, this work will deliver a clear view of:
The lived experiences of women within the workplace;
Their own organizational track record and metrics;
The holistic impact and validation of all existing efforts and initiatives;
How they compare against best practice market standards;
The actions that have the biggest impact and guidance on how to implement them; and
A single, standarized metric or ‘score’ for measuring progress year on year.
For women, it will become another important keystone in our effort to empower through transparency.
