Our mission & vision
What we’re here to do
Women continue to face a multitude of barriers in the workplace, which are often compounded with prejudices such as racism, ableism, and ageism. These inequities are more than just a moral issue; holding back over half the world’s population is negatively impacting us all, including businesses.
The WORK180 team is dedicated to removing these barriers, and we do this by focusing on our mission: To raise organizational standards so that all women* can choose workplaces where they can thrive.
*By all women, we especially mean women of color, women living with disabilities, trans-women and LGBTQ women.

Our vision
What will the world look like when we’re done?
At WORK180, our vision is to create a working world in which there is fair and equal representation, opportunities, and pay for all women.
How we’re making this happen
Our strategy is to raise global workforce standards slowly but surely, supporting employers to do better while empowering women to expect better.

We provide HR teams with the tools, insights, and expertise needed to gain buy-in and maintain momentum for their gender equity efforts.

Good intentions are not good enough. We support the employers we work with to take actions that will attract, nurture, and retain a diverse workforce.

Only available to companies truly committed to the careers of women, our endorsement is a sought after seal of approval for job seekers.

We empower women with the information they need to choose workplaces that work for them. At the heart of this revolution is our transparent job board.
Our social impact

“Every positive change we help a company make towards diversity, equity, and inclusion is another step closer to achieving our mission. The companies we endorse are key players in making the change we want to see in the world, which is why we don’t just provide a badge and disappear — we’re really in it together.”

Measuring and tracking our impact
Our social impact goals are aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for women.
We track and measure our own progress towards these goals using the WORK180 Equity Audit. This process provides us with a holistic view of the gaps, strengths, and opportunities in our strategy, and is available for other employers to use too.
