What is an employee story?
An employee story is a feature that shares your career journey, role, and experience working at your company. Depending on the format your organisation has requested, your story may appear as a social media carousel, a long-form blog article, or a video story. The questionnaire has been designed to suit the format chosen for this particular story, and to showcase your unique perspective in an authentic and respectful way.

Why have I been asked to complete this questionnaire?
You’ve been nominated by your employer to take part in an employee story that will feature on their WORK180 profile and/or WORK180’s social media channels. These stories help potential candidates see what it’s really like to work at your company and the types of people who thrive there.
Will I get to review the story before it's published?
Yes. You’ll be sent a draft of your story to review before it’s shared publicly. We welcome your participation in the fact-checking process and genuinely appreciate your feedback. Please note that the style and tone of voice are guided by SEO best practices and tailored for maximum audience engagement, so while we’ll consider all suggestions, some edits may not be applicable.
Will the story follow our corporate tone of voice?
Our Employee Story platform is where we engage in a more story-driven and authentic style of branding. Our experience and research have shown that jobseekers find more personal and casual styles of story content from the perspectives of employees more credible and engaging than official company culture testimonials or branded tone of voice, which we avoid replicating.
How long before the story will be published?
With a completed nomination form, you and your selected nominee can expect the story to appear on our platforms within 3 months
How will I know when my story is published?
Once your story is published, we’ll send you the links so you can view and share it.
We encourage you to post it across your own social media channels—it’s a great way to build your personal brand, celebrate your career journey, and help amplify your company’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
Content that’s shared by multiple people is more likely to be surfaced by social media algorithms, meaning your story can reach and inspire even more people considering where they want to work next.
