About Baddies in Tech
Baddies in Tech is more than a platform or community… it’s an identity. Our organization is creating safe spaces for women of color in tech to belong, but the Baddie Identity existed long before BiT was founded. We’re building for the women of color who are “the only” in their work environment, the ambitious black girl who lacks career role models and mentors, and the female executives who want to make the path to leadership easier for those coming up behind them. To be a member of Baddies in Tech is to reject professional stereotypes and to declare “this is what a technologist looks like.”
