The Role:

Reporting into the Supervisor you will be required to trim vegetation away from powerlines using either a truck mounted or all terrain Jarraff. You will also be required to trim and remove vegetation from ground level using a chainsaw. This is an opportunity to work outdoors in a small team with great work ethic, using well-maintained equipment and state of the art technology. Typically, you will need to travel up to an hour to reach work sites with opportunities to live away from home.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 8-hour shift from 7.00am to 3.30pm with opportunity for overtime and weekend work paid at penalty rates.

What we need from you:

• A current and unrestricted drivers’ licence is essential
• A MR/HR class driver’s licence is highly desirable
• Elevated Work Platform licence/ticket is desirable
• Chainsaw operation qualification (Certificate Level 1 & 2) preferred
• Industry experience and/or qualifications is desirable
• Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
• The ability to work as part of a team with a mature outlook and good communication skills
