We are now looking for a Production Manager to join our highly skilled team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager - Torbanlea, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of daily operations in your nominated production area. You will be accountable for:

• Ensuring compliance with all manufacturing, design and customer specifications
• Management of a production workforce, schedule, budgets, quality and safety
• Collaboration with key stakeholders both internal and external
• Empowering team leaders and encouraging continuous improvement initiatives

This is a fulltime, permanent role, and is based in Torbanlea / Maryborough, QLD


About You:

• 5+ years relevant experience in production management (manufacturing)
• Trade qualification – Ideally Fabrication or Mechanical Engineering trade.
• Strong people management/mentoring skills and collaborative approach to work
• Exposure and knowledge to Industry 4.0 and automation
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels

QTMP is the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland’s history. It includes the design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of manufacturing facilities and depots and a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain – a true legacy to be created for Queensland that you can be a part of!
