Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) is the statutory authority responsible for regulating, conducting, and promoting greyhound racing in Victoria, a sport that annually generates around $400 million in economic activity and over $3 billion in wagering and directly involves over 15,000 people.

About this opportunity

With support from our experienced CEO and executive leadership team, our next General Manager Racing, Safety & Clubs will lead the delivery of our racing program in partnership with your team and a broad range of stakeholders.

No two days are the same in this diverse role which draws on your leadership, strategic planning, operational management, and interpersonal skills to achieve agreed outcomes.

Your core focus will be achieving operational efficiency and racing safety while maximising opportunities for racing participants and supporting racing club capability. This means balancing competing priorities while maintaining a focus on safety, sustainability, and innovation.

Demonstrated experience managing racing programs (which leverages your deep technical knowledge and well-honed stakeholder management skills), coupled with your affinity for compliance and ability to think strategically and act operationally, will ensure your success.
