We’re on an exciting journey & we need an energetic, driven & commercially focused Business Development Manager to assist on taking one of Australia’s largest brands to the world!

This is a rare and exciting role within our organisation with lots of opportunity for progression and ability to really add impact by creating processes from the bottom up as well as being involved in the overall business management.

What you'll be doing

As our new Business Development Manager (Global), you will be part of a breakout team taking Kmart products internationally:

• Be responsible for the preparation and sales with new customers
• Be responsible for growing the topline of the new business
• Be a senior member of the division
• Assist in market analysis and tracking of key target customers
• Due to the growing nature of the team, this role will also be looked upon to create processes to cater for a fast-growing business, including processes related to Marketing, Legal, Sales etc.

What we’re looking for:

This role will suit an experienced and well-rounded Business Development Manager who is looking for a new challenge. You’ll play a key role as the right-hand person to our Head of the Business so you’ll need to be confident in your ability to bring on new accounts and be proficient in everything from the contracts side of BD to market analysis.

Ideally we’d like you to have:

• A formal qualification in Commerce, Business, Engineering or Law
• Excellent ability in building strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients to achieve strategic and operational outcomes
• Strong commercial focus with an ability to think outside the box
• Exceptional collaborative and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer focus
• Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience within Retail is desirable, but not essential
• Proficiency in French would be highly regarded

Please note that there will be some international travel required for this position
