About the Role

The Kimberley Region are currently seeking a suitably qualified Project Development Manager to manage the project planning and development for capital road and bridge infrastructure improvement projects within the region.

Based in Derby, Broome or Kununurra, as the successful candidate you will manage a range of project development tasks for projects of varying degrees of complexity - working with the Region’s design team and other stakeholders as required - to prepare projects for delivery. You will be responsible for managing a program of projects, developing project scopes, scopes of works, master plans and managing all required clearances as well as reviewing and providing comments on project feasibility, including constructability, financial assessments and road safety aspects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate your highly developed technical expertise and broad experience across all facets of project development. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in two or more of road and/or bridge design, planning, construction and maintenance, along with your comprehensive project and contract management skills.

Your role in representing the Project Owner will mean that you will be a strong negotiator and your experience in building relationships will be critical as you deal with a variety of stakeholders with competing interests.
