Your opportunity
We are looking for a Technical Director – Information Systems for our Digital Solutions Team. You will be working with our regional team to set up and support core business systems, specifically Bentley ProjectWise.

The Digital Solutions Team is focused on helping our clients in ‘Realising the true value of information’, to deliver better outcomes across the planning, delivery, and operation of their asset base. We facilitate this vison through our digital solutions platform Moata.

Your role will be to support the identification, planning, mobilisation, and support of CDE Information Management Systems on projects, primarily Bentley ProjectWise, though an understanding of other CDEs such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and 12D Synergy would be helpful.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have experience with the implementation of CDE systems and can explain best practice and keep colleagues informed of new developments. You’ll also be developing new templates, workflows, and standards to meet ongoing project needs.

In addition to the above, the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Working with our bid and project management teams to undertake requirements gathering and assist with planning of digital delivery plans, subsequent systems, and project support models.
  • Support the ongoing implementation of CDE systems, and support delivery teams to educate them on best practice, and new developments to the systems.
  • Work closely with Group IT to constantly ensure that our CDEs are planned, robust, secure, and meeting the needs of the project delivery teams.
  • Provide guidance to project staff on correct procedures, CAD workspace development, ProjectWise workflow and environment development as mandated by appropriate Mott MacDonald governance groups.


About you
To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bentley ProjectWise Administrator Advanced Accreditation
  • Major project delivery experience
  • Extensive CDE development and administration experience
  • Familiarity with Agile work practices
