Who we're looking for:
This is an exciting time to join Multiplex working on some of the most iconic construction projects in Adelaide, SA!
Due to increased work levels, we are seeking Project Coordinators/Senior Project Coordinators on a full-time permanent basis. Based on-site, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the co-ordination of the construction process (in conjunction with the senior management team), through the co-ordination and documentation of design and program requirements. The role provides a link between design, building services and sub-contracts to ensure project objectives are met.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
  • Ensuring installation works in the field are being undertaken in accordance with the project specification and appropriate design standards.
  • Assist with managing construction staff and sub-contractors in planning and executing work onsite.
  • Assist with managing and monitoring critical components of the project such as structure, façade and fit-out.
  • Quality Assurance.

With proven site experience on mid to large-scale commercial projects, your skillset will also include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Building or similar.
  • Background in Engineering, Construction, and delivery process.
  • Knowledge of Engineering principles and experience in actual documentation delivery.
  • Commercial and financial understanding of the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia.
  • Knowledge of Design, Estimating and Procurement.
  • A hands-on understanding of structure, steel, finishes, façade, and services.
