Who we're looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the Multiplex WA New Business Team. Located in the Perth, Head Office the Estimator is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of estimates, tender pricing and submission schedules for Engineering and Infrastructure projects in the WA region. Involved in early contractor involvement (ECI) and liaising with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors, the Estimator will take a lead role in the tendering of projects under the Bid Manager.
From tender pricing, including rating of any Bill of Quantities provided, preparing schedule of preliminaries costs, providing up-to-date construction cost advice to identifying risks and opportunities in design and tender documents. The Estimator is also involved in client meetings including status updates, design meetings, and value engineering workshops. This varied role will see you involved in some of Western Australia's most iconic construction projects.
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Degree in Construction Management or relevant Engineering discipline.
• Background in Commercial Construction, Quantity Surveying, or Estimating.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role ideally with a Tier 1/Tier 2 building construction company.
• Experience using CostX, Estimate One, Aconex, MS Excel, and benchmarking databases or similar.
• Previous experience working onsite (desirable).
