A bit about your role

The Executive Manager Commercial Finance Partner is responsible for providing high quality commercial finance business partner support to nbn’s CIO, the SEO (Systems, Engineering and Operations) Senior Leadership Team and SEO function more broadly.

This role supports the delivery of financial outcomes for SEO and their contribution to the overall financial success of nbn. Providing commercial leadership and support to key strategic and operational initiatives, this role will drive strong commercial outcomes and champion capital management. Partnering with the SEO leadership team, this role is focused on supporting the commercial and financial performance of the SEO function. Core to the role is the ability to provide detailed insights into financial performance, flagging early risks and opportunities to drive understanding and inform actions to deliver budget and enterprise outcomes.

A bit about you

If this role sounds like a good match for you, it’s likely that you hold relevant financial and project reporting experience, including budgeting and forecasting. Ideally, you’ll have finance leadership experience, with demonstrated expertise supporting an IT function undergoing significant transformation.

You will demonstrate a strong learning agility and analytical skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to drive and influence outcomes. You will have proven experience developing business cases, including complex models and analytics.

You are an exceptional communicator with the natural ability to collaborate cross functionally with stakeholders, holding a professional disposition, obtaining trust with a strong presence and sense of integrity and credibility.

Your extensive knowledge and experience in financial planning and reporting systems will be highly advantageous.
