Your new role

As a Tax Advisory professional at Pitcher Partners, you’ll work directly with business owners and key stakeholders to provide commercial solutions that have a meaningful impact for them. With the firm’s broad client base you’ll have the opportunity to hone deep technical expertise in particular areas of tax to apply across all manner of situations and industry sectors, with a particular focus on property clients and transactional work.

The breadth of the role means in any one day you might provide advice across a range of technical tax issues as well as being a trusted advisor partnering with clients to help solve their broader business issues. Day to day you will;

  • Prepare international tax consulting advice on a range of issues
  • Consult on a range of international tax issues across the firm
  • Cultivate and manage successful client relationships
  • Project manage jobs
  • Work closely with a range of partners and managers
  • Attend technical and soft-skills training

What you bring

You are degree qualified (accounting and/or law are highly regarded) and have 3 – 6 experience in the application of various taxation matters in a professional environment.

To enable you to assist the team to deliver commercial taxation advice to a range of clients, you can interpret relevant tax legislation and have strong time management skills and can manage conflicting deadlines.

You are inquisitive, enjoy legal research and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills making the complex comprehensible for our clients.

With a desire to develop a successful career in the Tax Advisory space, you are motivated to learn, be challenged, and mentored and well as support the development of more junior members of the team.
