Who We Are
Programmed Care has years of experience in delivering quality community services and is seeking an energetic and driven individual to support our growing client base across Queensland. We provide care, support and home nursing services to clients throughout Australia across a variety of programs including transitional care programs. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for the growth and overall management our clients and team in Queensland.
The Role
The Clinical Manager will be responsible for the overall management our clients and team in Queensland. The role is a fast-paced and ever-changing position where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for a small team of Service Coordinators and Clinical Staff who oversee the delivery of our services for clients in their homes. This role will report directly into our General Manager of Operations and will require someone with a growth mindset to build our client base while ensuring quality care at all times for our clients. You will support the Senior Clinical Nurse & our community nursing team to ensure all clinical outcomes are met and our clients achieve their goals.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse
- 5 + years’ experience in a team leadership or management role
- Demonstrated ability to implement business development and growth strategies
- High level of communication skills that display a commitment to care and empathy for clients and staff
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willing to undertake or holds current police check and working with children’s check
- Your own reliable vehicle
- First Aid Certificate (with CPR updated annually)
Key Accountabilities
- To improve health outcomes and assist clients to remain living at home, by providing safe, responsive and cost-efficient nursing care.
- Provide support and direction to the Service Coordinator/s & clinical staff in the development of daily scheduling of employees and non-clinical client service delivery.
- Assisting the care team by authorising delegation of care and managing RN’s, EN’s, support workers & administration staff
- Responsible for the initial establishment and/or review of the community nursing plan following a comprehensive standardised assessment.
- Provision of direct client care, highlighting the need for referral to multidisciplinary or specialty services, and providing training & support to RN’s, Enrolled Nurses, support workers, clients and their careers where required.
