Based at our plant in Benalla, We have an exciting opportunity within our MV/LV Solutions for an experienced Tendering Engineer. The focus of this critical role is the timely and accurate tendering for engineered solutions for LV/MV solutions including main switchboards, transformers in Utility/O&G/MMM environment working in consultation with the FO, and seeking technical clarification from engineering and manufacturing as required.

Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Carry out reviews of customer RFQ’s, and prepare costing as per standard process and tools.
• Prepare offer documentation consistent with validated data provided by commercial support sales & opportunity team (in bFO).
• Within agreed timeframes, manage and prepare appropriate contract deliverables including; quotations, cost, margins, and technical solution whilst mitigating all risks.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the duration of the contract
• Ensure that health and safety risks are eliminated

Who are you?

Suffice to say, as our preferred candidate you will be someone with medium voltage expertise, and you know your way around a tendering environment and the process required to pull together successful tendering responses.

Together with the above experience, you will have:

• An engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience in applications of LV / MV Switchgear or Transformers in Utility/O&G/MMM environment.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret, customer needs, technical specifications, commercial and contract conditions whilst identifying and mitigation of associated risks
• Demonstrable technical understanding of MV switchgear products and solutions
• Demonstrated team work, result orientation, structured approach
• Costing and estimating experience
