We are seeking a visionary Strategy and Innovation Lab Director to lead our dynamic team in embracing the energy landscape transition and driving strategic growth and innovation across various industries. You could be based in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and/ or Auckland NZ. As the Strategy and Innovation Lab Director, you will:

  • Develop and coordinate cutting-edge strategies and M&A proposals
  • Lead the incubation of new business models and/or offerings into the pacific market in collaboration with local and global teams through Innovation Labs
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis
  • Drive the development of key growth strategic initiatives
  • Engage in thought leadership and influence policy, regulations, and standards
  • Lead, inspire and develop strategy and innovation talent through direct reporting and through influence

About you:

You are a highly driven and self-motivated individual who loves to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. You are passionate about adding value in an organisation and contributing to business performance energises you. This role requires someone who can connect and collaborate with people easily, is open minded and values others view, has a good business acumen, together with analytical and financial modelling capabilities. As our successful candidate you are committed, have commercial leadership experience, live and breathe our IMPACT values.

In addition, you possess the following skills and experience:

  • Degree Qualified (MBA or similar)
  • Demonstrated Commercial Leadership and Entrepreneurship
  • Experience in digital transformation in B2B or B2C environments
  • Strategy development experience is essential
  • International, multi-cultural mindset and approach
  • Collaboration and teamwork are essential
